Hi! My name is Carl Clayton and I am the director of SINTO - the information partnership for South Yorkshire and north Derbyshire. SINTO is a consortium of library and information services that provides a forum for networking, planning and professional development & training. We have a track record of providing CPD events for the library & information sector and MLA Yorkshire asked us to administer the Next Generation programme.

I have worked in a number of academic libraries and also for the Library Association (which is now CILIP). I have a Diploma in Management Studies and degrees from the Open University and the University of Sheffield.

I have an interest in information management for managers and in using Web 2.0 in the workplace.

I live in Chesterfield with my partner Rita and her son.
