Libraries vs Recession
Libraries vs Recession - How libraries can help communities during the economic downturn, was held on Thursday 15th October 2009. Recessions result in an increase in public library use as people turn to free and low cost services. However, libraries can also be an important community resource to help people and businesses cope with the effects of the recession.
