Next Generation

Welcome to the Next Generation page on the SINTO wiki.
This page has been set up for delegates on the Next Generation Management Development Programme. It will be used to post information about the programme and also as a forum for you to get to know each other and to discuss issues arising from the programme. It can also act as an introduction to wikis as an example of social computing which may be of interest to you in your work.

Latest news here.

A wiki is a website that you can read; but you can also register with the site and add your own information. You can do this by adding a "thread" at the bottom of each page, or you can add information directly to the page, or make a new page. The site is owned by and developed by you.

To get things started you are invited to fill in your name and organisation below. You can then make a link from your name to a new page and share some information about yourself - what your job is, why you are doing this course, etc. You can also make a link from your organisation to your website so that people can find out more about where you work.

Hello Everyone!
I will be attending the next training on the Tuesday 24 June. I am coming from York and I am having trouble finding a connection that gets me to the museum in time for the training. By the time I can arrive in Wakefield or Huddersfield, the next bus I can get to the Museum arrives after 10:00 (I rely on a bus to get to the station in York, so this limits the trains I can catch). Could I catch a lift with one of you from Sheffield or wherever you are travelling from? I can get a train to Sheffield or Leeds or anywhere and meet you to travel together down to the museum and then back into town to get a train back to York. Thanks in advance!
Geoff

So what do we think about the course after last week? I'm really looking forward to it and think one of its strengths will be the mix of people from different organisations.....although I'm not sure who is left running Sheffield Galleries!
