Rotherham College has set up six new Learning Centres across its two campuses (Town Centre Campus and Rother Valley Campus).
At TCC
- Eastwood - Creative Studies
- Howard - Health, Humanities, Science & Mathematics
- Upper Clifton - Business & IT
- Lower Clifton - Technology
At RVC
- Upper - Business & IT and Technology
- Lower - Creative Studies and Health
These were created from the existing Learning Centres plus the conversion of teaching spaces. Each Learning centre is based on the same plan of Reception area, Social Learning Space, PCs, study area and teaching spaces - adapted to the physical space available.

The College has transformed the learning experience of its students. The College has one vision, which is to create learning spaces that are inclusive, flexible and high quality.We know that learning is no longer one dimensional - people now learn in a variety of ways. In order to meet these changing needs, the college has created new learning environments, allowing you to reach your full potential in a way that suits you.
To achieve its vison, the College has invested over a milion pounds in designing six new Learning Centres. These Learning centres combine the best of traditional library services with hard copy collection, drop in PCs and information retrieval support from experienced library and information professionals with 21st century teaching and learning resources.
